Guests pay exactly the listed trip price. Captains keep 87% of every booking. The only thing that changes that is Boost, which is off unless a captain switches it on, and it's explained in full further down.
What you see is what you pay.
Listing is free. You only pay when you earn.
A $500 trip, broken down
It costs nothing to list your boat.
A lower intro rate while you get started.
Sent as soon as the trip completes, in your bank about 2 business days later (banks skip weekends and holidays).
Captains carry their own liability insurance or use their own passenger waiver. We check which before they list.
Boost is the one thing that can change your commission, and it's entirely your call. Most captains never need it. We'd rather explain it plainly here than have you find it in a statement later.
In cities with at least 8 live listings, 6 sponsored slots sit at the top of search. Everyone who opts in goes into a draw, and the slots are dealt fresh every morning. You can't buy your way to a permanent top spot, and neither can anyone else.
An extra 5% commission (18% instead of 13%) and only on bookings made on a day your listing actually holds a slot. Days you don't draw one cost you nothing at all. There is no monthly fee and no minimum spend.
Every sponsored listing carries a "Sponsored" label, on the search card and on the listing page. Paid placement is never hidden, it never changes what a guest pays, and it never pushes a boat above one that's genuinely closer to them.
You'll find the switch on your boat's management page, along with your real odds for your city, before you decide anything. Turn it off there whenever you like.
List your boat in a few minutes, just 5% on your first 3 trips.
