Delete your BoatDay account

It takes about a minute, in the app or on the website.

1. 1Sign in to the BoatDay app or boatdayus.com.
2. 2Open Account settings.
3. 3Scroll to Delete account at the bottom.
4. 4Enter your password, tap Delete my account, then Yes, delete it.

Signed up with Google and never set a password? Email us instead (section 2) and we will close it for you.

Can't sign in, or don't have the app anymore? Email support@boatdayus.com from the address on your account with the subject "Delete my account". We'll confirm the request came from you and reply within 45 days, usually much sooner.

• Your name, photo, bio, phone number and email are erased from your profile right away.
• Any boats you've listed come down right away, and their photos are deleted.
• Saved cards, favorites, notification settings, waitlist spots and verification documents (files included) are deleted.
• Your login is closed and you won't be able to sign in again. Any unused BoatDay credit ends.

• Trip and payment records: 7 years, because tax law requires it.
• Messages and reviews from a past trip: stay with that trip, visible to the other person, shown as from "Deleted user".
• A record that you accepted our Terms and Privacy Policy: kept with your trip records.
• Anything tied to an open report, dispute or legal claim: kept until it's resolved.

Our Privacy Policy has the full retention schedule.

You don't have to close your account. In Account settings you can remove your phone number, photo and bio, delete saved cards, and turn off marketing emails. For anything else, email support@boatdayus.com and tell us what you'd like deleted.
